Lodo's Bar & Grill --- Highlands Ranch

Driving down highway 470 you can see a fun-looking restaurant that is all lit up at night and has what looks like people having fun on the roof. When you check the restaurant's website out you see that bands frequently perform here and that gives the place an even more fun vibe. After having lived here in Colorado for several years now, I finally decided it had been long enough of wondering about this fun place, and see for myself. Surprisingly only a small few of our group had been to Lodo's before too, and most of them have been in Colorado for forever!

As fun as the appeal is, only 6 of us were able to make Eating Club the weeknight that we went. Because it was a weeknight no bands were playing and the place seemed like a normal bar and grill. All of the tables were the tall bistro type, and to be honest we mostly just noticed how loud the large screen TVs were throughout the room. Even though our group's size was small and intimate, we had a hard time hearing each other over the other volume.

Our waitress was great though and was very attentive and quick.It seemed like our food took awhile to come out to us, but we didn't mind much because we enjoyed catching up with one another. It wasn't anything special, just typical bar and grill fare, and probably because the food took awhile, the manager came out and asked if we would like dessert on the house. We picked a dessert, and two orders of it came out for us to share. It was good, but not entirely memorable.
