Firehouse Subs

Firehouse Subs --- Parker

Not another sandwich place you might think when you see a Firehouse Subs location near you, but let us attest, Firehouse Subs is better than the rest. From healthy to very unhealthy (piles of meat and cheese), Firehouse Subs will satisfy almost anyone's appetite.
Our Eating Club had attempted to do a big gathering at one of our home's, but with scheduling conflicts we decided last minute to head to Firehouse Subs in the Target parking lot in Parker. We had a large group of around 20, and must have seemed a little overwhelming with all of these ladies all of a sudden bombarding the somewhat quiet location. Not to say that Firehouse Subs isn't busy, but they have a large eating area, and normally it doesn't feel crowded. We had called ahead and warned the staff that we would be coming, and they handled all of our orders quickly and well. We stayed for hours enjoying our food and catching up, and everyone seemed happy about their sandwiches.

For around $6 you can get a 6 inch sandwich, bag of chips, and a drink (using one of their many coupons), and you will be stuffed. Unlike Subway sandwiches, you order from a menu and they call you when your sandwich is ready. I ordered the Steamer because it is one of their most popular items and I love meat and cheese sandwiches. The bread was soft and the sandwich was extremely flavorful and the perfect combination. There are also options with a lot less calories that many of the women went for, and they looked equally as tasty. None of us brought kids, but their kid's meal comes with a fun fire hat, since Firehouse Subs was started by a group of firemen.

It was a simple night out with simply good food.
